A homemade Peach Pie is one of the summer's sweetest traditions. When peaches are in season, you likely have a whole bushel ready to be sliced for a juicy snack, added to yogurts and parfaits or included in a bowl of other fresh fruit. There are so many wonderful ways to enjoy peaches, but we think this easy Peach Pie recipe is one of the best. You need just 6 ingredients, 25 minutes of prep time and frozen Pillsbury™ Deep Dish Pie Crusts to make this recipe for Peach Pie. Soon you'll be serving up golden slices of Peach Pie with a scoop of ice cream on top.

peach pie

It’s not gilding the lily to serve this peach pie with bourbon-laced caramel drizzled on top—it’s called treating yourself! So go ahead and heat ¾ cup of your favorite caramel topping—just until warm. Then, stir in 1 tablespoon of bourbon. If caramel is not your thing, this pie tastes just as good with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or maybe a dollop of homemade whipped cream!

When fresh peaches are in season, we like to double down on making every peach recipe we can get our hands on. Peach pie, cobbler, dump cakes, pie bars—we can’t get enough. This peach pie recipe gets a quick start thanks to Pillsbury™ Pie Crusts, but if you’d like to try your hand on making pie crust from scratch, it’s actually shockingly doable and worth trying if you don’t want to run to the store for premade pie dough. You probably have all the ingredients for homemade pie crust already in your pantry! Once you find a foolproof pie crust that works every time, you can use the recipe for any <a href="https://www.tablespoon.com/courses/dessert/pie/fruit-pie"target="_blank">fruit pie.

Stone fruits, like peaches, should always be free of bruises and soft or shriveled spots. Avoid fruits that are excessively hard or green. Pick peaches that are intensely aromatic and give to gentle pressure—store ripe peaches in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days.

Fuzzy-skinned peaches come in many varieties ranging from light pink/creamy white to red-shaded yellow. The flesh ranges from pink-tinged white to yellow-gold. In the United States, these varieties are generally available from May to October.

A New England phenomenon that's becoming popular everywhere, the famous "pies" are really more like soft cakes with a creamy filling. Use Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Cake Mix and Betty Crocker™ Frosting for a simple-to-make, authentic-tasting version.

A 2-tablespoon size cookie scoop is a good tool to make quick work of dropping batter onto cookie sheet.

Whoopie pies turn out best when baked one cookie sheet at a time on middle oven rack.

For a more decorated look, pipe frosting in a decorative swirl on bottom of each cookie before sandwiching.

All pies are good pies, but a warm peach pie with crumble? There's no beating that. A flaky crust and sweet streusel topping make this Peach Crumble Pie extra special. Picture-perfect and delightfully sweet, the delicate dessert will steal the spotlight wherever and whenever you serve it. You'll want to keep this Peach Crumble Pie recipe handy, because family and friends are going to be asking for it!

peach crumble pie

A pastry blender is a handled U-shaped utensil made up of wires or thin metal blades. It’s used to “cut” fat–butter, shortening–into small bits and evenly distribute it throughout your dough.

To flute pastry’s edge, place thumb and index finger about 1 inch apart on outside of raised edge. With other index finger, push pastry toward outside, continuing around edge, repeating motion, to form decorative edge.

Fresh fruit pies can be juicy and sometimes have a tendency to bubble over the edges during baking. To be safe, we recommend placing a sheet of foil on the oven rack below the pie. It will save your oven from having to be cleaned.
